# OpenSearch Migration: 2026-04-29

## Overview
The KDH/PP team has a new search solution that utilizes OpenSearch. 
Abacus currently uses CloudSearch, resulting in UPC search issues.
We have already tested the OpenSearch solution in QA and we are now ready to move to production.
