# ABACUS Uses PP Permissions

## Overview
ABACUS does not currenty use the Permissions solution from the PP. Abacus profiles are typically READ, WRITE, and feature flags as granular AC for specific features.
This year, we will begin implementing the Permissions from the PP. 

Ideally, we want to scope this work to Q1 for one 1.5 engineers. (0.5 FTE, 1.0 Consultant)
