# Welcome to the Infamous docs by the CEA Data Kommunity

## Introduction
...And if you don't know, now you know...

This documentation is an attempt to regroup ressources and knowledge from the CEA Data Kommunity.

This is and will always be a work in progress. Any comments, feedbacks, ideas and contributions are more than welcome.

We aim to help with knowledge sharing around the region (what tools have been build, provide ressources preventing everyone from build things from scratch when others have probably already done something around the topic) and foster collaboration in the region (by providing tools and a common place to share code in order to ease collaborative work).

We hope that il will help with on-boarding new people joining the Kommunity as well.

You'll find on this page a summary of the ressources available as of now.

## Regional Tools Inventory
You'll find here a list of all tools running in production somewhere in the Kommunity.

This was initialised following the tool survey from 2023 and we kept only tools declared as "in production" and with datasources that can be used by the whole Kommunity (ie ReportingDB, Delphi). This will potentially change over time if needed.

Everyone is highly encouraged to add new tools when their ready or to update information on their tools if needed.

To access the list, visit [CEA Tool Inventory](https://sonymusicentertainment-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/julien_comte_sonymusic_com/Documents/CEA/CEA_LocalTools.xlsx?d=w08dc942ef9c94d91b297c308ebdd19b7&csf=1&web=1&e=ghVg5H). (reach out to Julien if you can't access the file)

## GitHub repo

To access the GitHub repo visit [cea-infamous](https://github.com/SME-BUS/cea-infamous).
What you'll find inside:

* sql-snipit: Find here shared sql queries by the Kommunity
* djagitit package: a shared python package ([djagitit Reference Guide](djagitit/welcome.md))
* projects: Find up and running shared projects maintained by some great people from the Kommunity
* tools: a bunch of automated scripts to help with your development workflow

## ReportingDB
All Members of the Kommunity have access to the `prod_eu_analytics` schema in the reportingDB.

This schema will be used to share tables/views within the region in a more convenient and reliable way than using the `sandbox` schema.

Please see [CEA reporting DB schema](reportingdb.md) for more on the use of the schema.

## Alteryx/Tableau
Visit the shared [CEA Collection](https://usergallery.scuba.tools/gallery/#!collection/CEA_shared_wf/c16c065f5be14ade9cf2c7a5d726fcc4) on the Alteryx Gallery, to find some workflows to use off-the-shelf or as starting point to build upon.
See the [cea alteryx](alteryx.md) section of the site for the documentation of the collection.

Visit the shared [CEA Site](https://initiatives.scuba.tools/#/site/int_mktng/explore) on the Tableau Server, to find some dashboards to use off-the-shelf or as starting point to build upon.
See the [cea tableau](tableau.md) section of the site for the documentation of these dashboards.

If you need access, please reach out to Kutay

## Power BI
As of now, France and Italy are using PowerBI extensively.

You can reach out to Julien, Nouha or Caterina if you want to dive into this tool
