When adding a new license, the user has the ability to define the license as a standard mechanical license or a controlled composition license. Controlled composition licenses utilize the controlled composition license settings that are associated with the selected contract. The following are Controlled Composition specifics:

The list of available contracts that can be selected for controlled licenses associated with the specific album is determined by the contracts that are attached to the album.

Attached contracts are available in the list if they have a completed controlled composition clause in them.

Only one contract / controlled clause can be assigned to the license "Contract for Controlled Composition" section.

All configured controlled composition licenses created in the album use the same contract / controlled clause.

Filter the list of mechanical licenses being viewed

As the list of mechanical licenses associated with an album can be quite large, there are filters that can be applied to this view to focus the list on desired license types.
