The US statutory mechanical royalty rate table is provided as a reference and includes all of the statutory rates assigned over time.

The US ringtone mechanical royalty rate table is provided as a reference and includes the current base rate for ringtone mechanicals.

As no historical statutory rates current exist, all licenses are calculated using the base ringtone rate.

The Canadian statutory mechanical royalty rate table is provided as a reference and includes all of the statutory rates assigned over time.

The historical statutory rate table is used by the application to apply the proper rate for a license.

• A license that is configured for a "Lock Date" will use the statutory rate from the rate period defined by the date associated with the "Lock Date".
• A license that is configured for "Sales Date" will use the statutory rate from the rate period associated with the date the sales took place.
• Licenses that are configured for "Minimum Stat" will use the associated "Base Rate" noted in the table.
• Licenses that are configured for the "Stat Rate" will use the song timing and "Minute Rate" noted in the table.
  • Song timing under 5 minutes use the "Base Rate."
  • Song timing over 5 minutes use the "Minute Rate."
